De La Costa Farms beginnings goes back to the year 1924 having under the direction of «H.H.H» the first field and packing facility near the Sea of Cortes.
After more than 90 years, De la Costa Farms is consolidated as a family company producer of vegetables, based on sustainable development policy, with standardized and certified processes for cultivation and packing of Green Beans, becoming this way, in an company leader in export of vegetables from Sinaloa.
Since its inception there have been several crops, among which are Eggplant, Tomato, Cucumber, Corn, Sorghum, Cotton, Rice, Beans, Chile, Soybeans and Green Beans.
Nowadays, more than 760 hectares are planted (100% of Green Beans), all of them are equipped with Drip Irrigation Systems, which has allowed to have an excellent quality of product that has positioned De la Costa Farms as a recognized brand in the Fresh Vegetable sector.

OUR BEANS
Legume originating in Mexico. It is currently grown in different countries around the world.
These are a variant of the bean that is to be eaten with the pod when it is still green. It is rich in water, A and C vitamins, folic acid; minerals such as calcium and potassium; as well as fiber and flavonoids source.
It is ideal for a balanced diet, since it provides few calories and its vitamins and minerals provide great benefits for the functioning of our body. It is a vegetable with a great amount of antioxidants and flavonoids.
The nutrients it provides to the body help reduce the risk on health conditions such as obesity, heart disease and also helps to prevent conditions such as cancer and diabetes.
Incorporating it into your daily diet provides health benefits. They are nutritious and tasty and can be steamed, blanched, sautéed or eaten even raw.

At the same time, we are an company committed to the preservation of the environment and we adopt good practices within our daily operation.
Today, we save more than 25% of electric energy by using solar cell systems implemented in the packaging facilities. This has created a greater culture of savings among employees, suppliers and customers, and has strengthened the areas of the company that are of vital importance to sustainable development.
We have also implemented a drip irrigation system, achieving efficiencies of 90-95% in the use of water, using only the water necessary for our crops and achieving great uniformity in irrigation.
